Q. How long does it take the carpet to dry?

A. Drying time depends on humidity levels, airflow to the room(s) cleaned, and the type of carpet. Well-ventilated rooms always dry faster. It typically takes 2–12 hours for the carpet to dry, you can walk on it as soon as we are finished (just remember to remove street shoes first to avoid re-soiling).

Q. What kind of chemicals do you use?

A. We use biodegradable cleaning products that are safe for kids and the entire family.  Our cleaning products are approved by the carpet and rug institute.

Q. Do you move furniture?

A. We move light furniture but we do not move breakable items and heavy furniture. We ask that all breakable furniture such as vases be moved before arrival.

Q. How often should my carpet be cleaned?

A. Most carpet manufacturers recommend that you clean your carpet at least every 12 months. This frequency varies from house to house based on the number of people and pets living there. It is recommended to have your carpets cleaned as soon as it gets dirty.

Q. Can carpet cleaning help my allergies?

A. Yes. Carpet cleaning removes pollutants and germs that are trapped in your carpet. Regular carpet cleaning improves the indoor air quality in the house.

Q. How soon can i walk on the carpet after it's cleaned?

A. You can walk on it immediately with clean shoes.

Q. How long does it take my Upholstery to dry?

A. Drying time depends on humidity levels, airflow to the room, overall soiling, fabric composition and design. It typically takes 2–12 hours for the upholstery to dry.

Q. Are you insured?

A. Sparkletime is registered and insured.

Q. Are there things you won't clean?

A. Due to health concerns (toxoplasmosis) we do not clean out blood, vomit and anything else along these lines (either of human or animal origin). They need to be cleaned though a bio-hazard cleaning service.

House Cleaning and Commercial Cleaning FAQs

Q. Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

A. We provide all supplies but we can use yours if you prefer. We can also use your supplies if you want a price reduction.

Q. How many people will be cleaning my house?

A. We provide one or two cleaners. The number of cleaners will depend on the size of the property and the level of cleaning required.

Q. Do I have to sign a contract for recurring service?

A. No contract is required for our domestic cleaning services. However, for office cleaning services we will negotiate and agree on a suitable contract to suit our clients' requirements.

Q. What modes of payment do you accept?

A. We accept cash and checks

Q. Do you work on weekends and holidays?

A. We can provide any of our cleaning services on weekends and holidays at no extra charge.

Q. What if the cleaners missed a spot?

A. We offer a consistent, quality home cleaning. However, miscommunications occur and we may make a mistake. If you notify us within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge.

Q. Are there things you won't clean?

A. Due to health concerns (toxoplasmosis) we do not clean out cat boxes, blood, vomit and anything else along these lines (either of human or animal origin). They need to be cleaned though a bio-hazard cleaning service.

Q. Do I have to be home during the cleaning?

A. No, you don’t have to be home. Please contact us regarding alternate methods of entry.
